How do I know I need tire or wheel service?

How often should I rotate my tires?
Most manufacturers recommend rotating tires every 5,000 to 7,500 miles — often the same interval as your oil change, which makes it easy to remember. Rotation evens out wear across all four tires and extends their useful life. We rotate tires for free with most services.
How often should I get a wheel alignment?
Most vehicles benefit from a wheel alignment every year or 12,000 to 15,000 miles, plus any time you install new tires, hit a major pothole, or notice symptoms like pulling, uneven wear, or a crooked steering wheel. Proper alignment protects your tires and improves fuel economy.
How do I know I need new tires?
The classic penny test: put a penny upside-down in your tread groove. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread is at 2/32" or less — time for new tires. Also look for visible cracks in the sidewall, bulges, or cords showing through. Uneven wear patterns can mean tires AND alignment work; we'll diagnose both.
Why is my car pulling to one side?
The most common causes are an alignment issue, uneven tire pressure between sides, uneven tire wear, or a problem in the suspension or brake system. We diagnose all of those in one inspection — pulling is usually one of the easier symptoms to track down.
How do I know my suspension or steering needs service?

Tire installation with alignment typically takes 1 to 2 hours. A wheel alignment alone is about 1 hour. Suspension work (struts, shocks, control arms) usually runs 2 to 4 hours depending on the vehicle. Steering repairs depend on the diagnosis. We'll give you a clear time estimate up-front when we quote the work.
